Adolphe, the business rep. for the union I belong to, dropped by today to give me a retirement gift. He ignored the companies news that I didn't want anything. Actually, I can't take anything with me. The very nice clock will sit amongst Gil's stuff, and Gil probably won't even notice it.
I've been saying goodbye to people throughout the month. I suppose it ought to be a difficult thing to do, but it hasn't been. I'm too busy to think. Besides, with internet it's easy to keep in touch.
